About Us

Renee

- Renee came to Gonyaw Farms in the spring of 2008.  Her back ground includes an Associates Degree in Equine Studies that she received from Centenary College in New Jersey and a Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology that she received at Vermont Technical College.  She was a Veterinarian Technician at Derby Pond Animal Hospital in Derby, VT. She has always been a horse person since she was little. Her parents bought her first horse here at Gonyaw Farms when Renee was 10years old. His name is Topper. She showed him on the local show circuits, and also did local Gymkhanas with him. Renee brings to us her love for the horses and her show experience, where she has shown hunt seat and western pleasure, dressage, and gymkhana. 

Chelsea

- Chelsea has been here at Gonyaw Farms since 2008. She has been raised around the Farm and horses her whole life. Chelsea worked at a Morgan show stable prior to coming to Gonyaw Farms. Chelsea showed on the local circuits where she would show western pleasure, saddle seat and hunt seat. She loves to give lessons and do trail rides.

Bri

- Bri started coming to Gonyaw Farms when she was 10 years old for the camp program. We have enjoyed her so much that she has been with us for 6years. She went from taking lessons here to giving lessons and teaching the kids all she knows. Bri has been running barrels and Gymkhanas on her Quarter Horse that she calls Caddy. She has won many championships and has gone to the top on her mare. Bri also bought her first horse here at Gonyaw Famrs. She loves to go trail riding and go swimming on the horses. She is going to be getting ready to head off to collage here shortly.

Bruce

- Bruce is the owner of Gonyaw Farms He was raised around horses his whole life. In the 1990’s he came into the horse business. He pulled draft ponies and draft horses all over New England. He did the horse show circuit growing up. Bruce started traveling to the Midwest to buy the finest western broke horses he could find to resell. He has expanded his business too horse sales, tack and harness shop, trailer sales, round pens, rubber mats, feed and anything else you would need.

The Farm

- Gonyaw Farms is the largest horse facility in Northern Vermont. We are open 7 days a week all year round. We offer horse sales, yearly horse and tack consignment sale in May, lessons, scenic trail rides, cowboy weekend with extreme cowboy race, summer camp for the whole family, trail ride weekends. We also have trailer sales, round pens, rubber mats and other horse equipment. We also offer a fully stocked tack and harness shop.
